Busy morning.

Holy crap... can I breathe now? *breathe*
I think we've fixed all of the blog entries that he monkied with. If anyone finds more, let me know. It appears that his plan was to go back through posts and add stupid comments and/or erase them. There's only one post that I wasn't able to get back - a line-up of the kids, "Duggar style". Given his obvious obsession with any Duggar reference, I'm not all that surprised. He also made comments in some...how shall we say...interesting blogs? Let's just say that I'm not a frequenter of fanfic or furry blogs. John, however, seems to be quite the closet furry!

The people at Google/Blogger are pretty amazing. I'm not sure when his blog went down, but I wasn't expecting it to be GONE when I woke up. It looks like he's been deleted. Or, in true chicken fashion, he deleted it himself. I did grab screen caps of the entries before turning in.

I've talked to the same law enforcement officials who helped during "he who shall not be named"'s idiocy from last year. They've given me some options to think about.

On a personal note...I want to say thanks for the support. It was really heartwarming to wake up to so many comments and e-mails. You guys rock!!

I'm glad you were able to fix most of the posts, and really glad that John the Bastard is gone...or at least his blog. It was one of the nastiest things I'd seen in a long time. And, I'm glad you talked to the people who helped before. Very brilliant move, since that gives you more knowledge.

On the bright side...your commenters for the last post introduced me to the Gift of Fear book, which I have ordered through Paperbackswap.com, which you introduced me to.

Glad he is gone! (And you are not).

What the flying f#*&!

I go away for a few hours to wrap X-mas presents (long story) and what do I find when I get back:

War were declared!

Why do I always miss these things.

Puts musket back away.

Seriously though, I need to apoligize. This may have been my fault. I kept telling him to change tactics and he may have misinterprited what I meant by that.

I thought I wsas clear that I wanted him to stop making baseless accusations and start making clear and well-supported arguments but with him, you never know how he'll interpret something. (I submit the whole linking to pictures vs. reposting them as an example.)

So, if I was the one who inspired him to do this I apologize profusely. (Thank you someone else's wrod of theday calender.)

I would also like to add my voice to the ever growing number of people who are glad you decided to
keep the blog.

Phew. No John, and Possummomma remains - Woot!

I cannot imagine what kind of a God John worships that he thinks would condone his sort of behavior.

Saurian200, from what I'm learning, he has done this before. It's his MO. So, I don't think any of this could be attributed to you. Not in a million years. *hugs*

So glad everything is getting worked out!

What a godly man John is! What a shining example of the goodness of his religion! What a prick!

I'm so glad you have options in this; this guy is clearly around the bend and halfway down the highway. His remarks regarding your daughters have been very scary. I wouldn't trust him as far as I could fly.

I hope you have no more problems with this fucktwit.

It was a shitty thating to happen to you and you have enough on your plate.

That and it could happen to anyone of us. I awoke a couple of times last night thinking about how secure my blog was.

As to the Gift of Fear book. I would recommend this book to everyone, it is a life saver and has broad application not just in the realm of self defense but just in general human interaction

Hi possummomma,

I'm a long time lurker, but google has cached your Duggar post since this alteration was recent. I checked by googling: possumomma duggar, and selecting the cached version (from the Cached- Similiar Links- Notes This bar) instead of the live link. You can copy that back into your blog if you want it back. Even the pictures are still there! I'd paste the cache link here, but it's too long. Thank you for writing- your posts are always informative and interesting.

Another longtime lurker/reader here. If the Google cache ends up not working or if you find more missing posts, I have nearly everything back through September 2006. My RSS reader keeps all posts from any feed indefinitely.

So sorry to see this happen. I'd wondered if things might get worse as John R's behavior seemed more irrational and belligerent every day.

Maybe the song is right. We'll know the Christians by their love.

The google cache. Although as said above, make sure you get a copy of it sooner rather than later, incase google reindexes your blog.

Wow!! I leave the internet for 36 hours and see what happens!! I was a presiding judge at our local voting precinct yesterday - I worked from 6 am - 7:30 pm, then had to take the votes to the courthouse. And all of this happens!
I'm gald you've decided to keep the blog going, pmomma. Your blog is one of my daily fun visits.
Take care,

Furry and fanfic sites, eh? I don't see too many of the female characters on those sites "modestly dressed".

Or maybe he was visiting those sites to tell them how immoral they are. Yeah, that must have been it.

I looked through John R.'s blog yesterday through Google's Cache.

I think that Google may have forced a re-index because that blog is gone even from the cache this morning!

wow. I'm impressed with Google over this.

Now if we could just get them to reindex John himself - perhaps that's what is required to turn him into a human.

If there isn't a cache of the "Duggar" post in Google, you can just wait 6-12 months for it to appear on archive.org's Wayback Machine.

Well, I'm happy that this had nothing to do with me but...

Holy C&@#! I knew there was something wrong with this guy but, wow, this is seriously messed up stuff.

I'm really glad that it looks like google did something because this guy really need to be taught a lesson.
