How can you abandon your children to read such sorcerous literature - your're going to hell along with Harry ; )

Bravo PM and Jack. Audio was excellent and all the subject matter entertaining, even the parenting stuff. Eagerly awaiting the next episode.

That was a great podcast!

I'll add it to my iTunes set when I get home. If I don't get to it today then it will definitely be on my iPod tomorrow. Can't wait to listen.

I'll have to wait till I get home to hear it, I guess. Thought I'd make my lunch hour more interesting but can't get it to work from here.

Good first episode, looking forward to the next one.

Congratulations on a great first podcast. When you mentioned that reading the bible cover to cover is what got you thinking, it made me think of my mother in law. She says that she reads the bible cover to cover every year. My husband and I can't understand how she can do that and not question what she reads and be okay with what she reads. I think you are lucky to have come away with the perspective you have.

I just finished the podcast on my computer here at work. Great job! I never knew your background, or realized that you already had a blog before this one.

Interesting material, I'll be looking forward to the next episode. Does Jack have a blog?

Woot! I'm going to listen to it later. Congratulations!

I'm sending this to social bookmarking sites, get you some traffic. I'll plug it in some chatrooms later, too.

PM,
very good podcast;
I will await more of them.

And it gives me a "voice" for when I read your posts...

Kazim, I don't think Jack has a blog. But, you can e-mail him at the pmandjack@yahoo.com address. He's a big fan of the NP's and AE. He'd probably do a fangirl swoon. :)

Thanks for plugging the show, Aerik.

To the rest of you - THANK YOU!! I think the next show will be a bit more spontaneous and fun. We've got some great topics lined up (directly from questions and topics on this blog).

Were we all listening to the same podcast?

This was boring and Pmomma needs to lay off the fags.
Pmomma are you fucking stupid? How can you say that you don't want your kids to look up to you? It sounds to me like you want a no harm no foul thing where you are not accountable to them if your parenting goes wrong.
Typical liberal-atheist parenting with no straight answers.

Jack run.

So John's not a fan eh? Well John - fuck you and your God

And in case you not aware that's Australian of Fuck you and the horse you rode in on, usually "...and your dog", but hey I'm sure you'll get the play on words John.

John boy, don't be hatin', your jealousy is showing.

Pmomma I haven't had the opportunity to listen yet but I'm sure you guys did a wonderful job! Congrats!

John,

Typical liberal-atheist parenting with no straight answers.

Typical Conservative-Christian complaining and insult hurling instead of any kind of useful critique.

Yawn.

Weren't you not going to post here anymore - something about how we're all mean and spiteful or some such nonsense...

This was boring and Pmomma needs to lay off the fags.

More projecting, I see. Is there something you need to tell us, John?

Pmomma are you fucking stupid? How can you say that you don't want your kids to look up to you? It sounds to me like you want a no harm no foul thing where you are not accountable to them if your parenting goes wrong.

...and he's great with non sequiturs, too, folks!

Typical liberal-atheist parenting with no straight answers.

Typical talking-point drivel with no substance.

Wow, what a cool job to have. Bio-historian. I want one of those degrees. Have you read "The Ghost Map", Pmomma?

Very nicely done p-momma!

LOL! I certainly did not expect an answer to my irrelevant question, but thanks? ;)

pmomma,
really great, it seems like it must be hard being an athiest parent in the states. I'm a dad and have never really had any problems at all being an Atheist parent I live in Melbourne. Apparently George H Bush lived in Springfield as well! just across the road from Homer J.
Christian is my given name not any thing to do with faith, my mum reckons there is Danish royalty in our ancestry and as there have been at least 10 king Christians she thought why not!!
